Queue Barriers Don’t Discriminate

One of the oft thrown accusations about queue barriers is that it is discriminatory in nature, and this could not be further from the truth. It isn’t the queue barriers that will keep you out, but the people organizing the event. They have a target market, and perhaps you don’t fit in. This should never be a reflection of who you aren’t, but of what kind of people they want to attract.

In other words, the queue barriers are just another set of equipment for crowd control. If you find your niche, then you will be part of the “in” crowd, and enjoy being on the other side of the queue barriers.

More importantly, it will prompt you to work on finding out more about yourself and how other people perceive you to be. If you want to be recognized by a certain click, then you need dress and act the part. However, if this isn’t who you really are, then accept that you are comprising yourself.

Just remember that queue barriers don’t keep you out, they just keep out a concept of who the people behind the scenes think about you. It may be a wake-up call, or just a push in the right direction. Either way, you should see if you can find the place where you belong, and enjoy being on the right side of the queue barriers.
