Do Homemade Rope Dividers Work Just As Well As Commercial Ones?

Rope dividers are usually made with the use of heavy machinery designed to make rope. This makes the idea of a homemade rope divider interesting but not always feasible. One simple way to make a divider at home is to just get yards of fabric and braid them together to form the rope. The problem with this how to keep it from unraveling and quick wear and tear.

There is also the issue of where to get the hooks that attach to the ends of the rope and onto the posts. These are not something you can buy off the shelves, even in a hardwire or craft store.

An option to homemade and affordable would be to buy from an auction house or from a second hand store. It won’t be in tip top shape but it will be more durable than something you string together from your home.

Finally, even if you are able to come up with a good homemade rope divider, it could end up costing much more than buying commercially made, ready-to-use dividers. If you are really conscious about price, your best bet would be to just canvass and talk to suppliers to get the best terms and price possible.
