The WeatherPro is designed for use in the harshest outdoor environments and was developed for use on the decks of cruise ships where the combination of salt water, and sea air was causing standard outdoor barriers to rust within 3 months. The WeatherPro features a stainless steel post and a base milled from a solid piece of aluminum. Standard barriers have a cast iron base and once the powder coat wears off they rust, however, WeatherPro's aluminum base will not rust even if the powder coat is damaged.

Minimal Trip Hazard

The 1/4" thick leading edge on the WeatherPro base makes this product the ideal choice for applications where keeping trip hazards to a minimum is important.
