Length: (including the rope ends) the most popular length is 6' feet or 72" inches. We recommend up to 6' ft. length for a rope stanchion with a dome base and up to 8' ft. with a flat base.

If you need a velvet rope in a certain length, please order the next full length and on the checkout page write your notes in the order comments box or email us after placing your order. Example: please make my rope 5'7".

Rope Ends: Most popular is a Polished Stainless Steel / Chrome finish (polished chrome looks the same) "snap" rope end with a latch to secure. If you have a busy place and need to open a walkway often, an "open hook" end may be more practical.

We can make one rope end "snap" and the other "open" (add your request on the checkout page in the order comments box or email us after placing your order).

All ropes except 6' ft. long are custom made and are not returnable.
